About Fryslân
Fryslân is a province in the north of the Netherlands. With 650,000 inhabitants, innovative business activity, involved knowledge institutions and cooperating governments, it has now been working for 10 years towards a common goal: to be a leader in the transition to a circular economy. The Circular Friesland Association serves as a catalyst and platform of cooperation in this respect. Regional, national and European cooperation is essential for a region to make strides in the circular economy.
Therefore, Fryslân is an ambitious partner in several European projects. The province has also been a proud member, and since 2020 a permanent part of the board of directors, of ACR+ since 2018. In 2025, we will be 10 years on the road in our collaborative approach. We cordially invite you to celebrate this with us, and to continue working together on what binds us: ambitious, creative and purposeful making the circular economy.
